This is a job offer for the position of Captain at a fine-dining restaurant in Gulberg, Lahore. Job Description: -Supervising and leading the front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers. Greeting and welcoming guests with a warm and professional demeanor. Assisting in managing reservations and coordinating table assignments to optimize seating. Guiding guests through the menu, providing recommendations, and answering any questions. Overseeing table settings and ensuring an inviting ambiance in the dining area. Monitoring the pace of service and ensuring timely attention to guests' needs. Handling guest complaints and resolving issues with tact and diplomacy. Coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow. Managing billing and payment processing, including splitting checks if necessary. Assisting in managing large group reservations and special events. Training and mentoring front-of-house staff on proper service etiquette. Conducting pre-shift meetings to brief staff on daily specials and important updates. Collaborating with the restaurant management team to implement policies and procedures. Staying informed about the restaurants offerings, promotions, and special events. Maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Leading by example, providing excellent customer service to set a high standard for the team.
