As a Travel Agency Consultant Intern, you will be responsible for assisting our clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements. You will work closely with our experienced travel agents to learn about the travel industry, develop your skills in customer service, and gain valuable knowledge in booking and organizing travel logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, tours, and transportation
Provide excellent customer service by answering client questions, addressing concerns, and offering recommendations
Learn about different travel destinations and be able to offer advice on attractions, activities, and local customs
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations that may affect travel arrangements
Help manage bookings and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
Assist with marketing efforts such as creating social media content and developing promotional materials
Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
Minimum Matric
Passion for travel and a willingness to learn about the industry
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software quickly
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
